First Time in Industry History: Outdoor Hospitality Company, RV Dealership, and Manufacturer Form Joint Venture

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – RVC Outdoor Destinations and American RV have recently teamed up to introduce a superior product. The two Memphis area companies are working together to sell park models, including the official RVC Resort Cottage, and to provide a great experience for new and veteran owners of RVs and those seeking easy cottage and cabin options.
   
“This is the first time in the RV industry that the manufacturer, dealership and resort establishment have joined together,” said Phil Surles of Athens Park Homes, manufacturer of RVC Resort Cottages. RVC President Andy Cates added, “A dynamic team has been formed and I believe it will drive more interest to park models and to the outdoor hospitality industry.”
   
Buyers have a variety of purchasing options at American RV, from a wide selection of RV models to the exclusive RVC Resort Cottage. Its superior architectural design, layout options, and overall quality are just some of the features that make the RVC Resort Cottage different from traditional park models. Interested buyers now have a new product line to browse and own, while both RVC and American RV will benefit from this team approach.

This new partnership allows the dealership to offer a highly attractive destination for people interested in purchasing an RVC Resort Cottage. In addition to selling RVC Resort Cottages that are made specifically for RVC Outdoor Destinations, the joint venture will sell park models that can be purchased for utilization at any property, including farms, hunting camps, recreational land, and even as guest houses.

RVC Outdoor Destinations will help American RV sell RVs by arranging a smooth “maiden voyage” experience, providing park model designs, and granting marketing support. American RV will help drive traffic to RVC properties via park model sales and on site cross marketing. “The marketing efforts will help both companies increase growth and awareness to the Southeastern RV and outdoor vacation industries,” said Peter Albano of American RV.

RVC Outdoor Destinations is based in Memphis, TN, though it owns and operates six properties (one being a boat club) in the Southeast with another opening in Hot Springs, Arkansas in February. Not far from RVC’s headquarters, American RV is located in Olive Branch, Mississippi, and is known for offering a huge selection of the leading RV brands.
